Fall fashion is always worth the wait. After all, we get to see so many interesting ideas, which are often not as predictable as spring trends. Some months, the fall 2017 collections were revealed, and since the trends have started to hit the market now, it is just the apt time to talk about the best runway styles. In this special post, let’s cover fall 2017 trends that you can sport effortlessly in the coming season.
Back with velvet: Soft and posh, velvet is one of the most trending materials since last two years. Last year too, designers worked with varied shades, using the feel of velvet to create new looks. This year, you have brighter options in shades like yellow and blue. You can check the collections of Jill Stuart and Jason Wu among others for some inspiration. Pick up a nice dress for an evening date, and you can pair it with a cool overcoat.
Saying it loud: The world has some real burning issues, and many of these need our attention. Designers like Prabal Gurung, Versace, and Redemption worked with clothing as a new tool, with a lot of slogan tees. While some of the designs were more like an abstract, others were quite bold and direct. If you are considering a DIY project this season, you can try designing solid tees with such slogans, or as a better option, get some of these printed in a customized way, both in dresses and tees.
Love for the suit: The lady boss needs her own power suit, and top fashion houses seem to have recognized that. A lot of known designers and fashion labels like Alexander Wang and Max Mara worked with stylish boardroom suits in a number of colours and checks, mostly in formal fabrics. While this might be a returning trend, but boardroom clothing is not going anywhere for sure, and you can safely pick a couple of these.
Puff it up: Well, some women like the idea of having extremely relevant clothing, and designers have taken note. Versace, Coach and Balenciaga, among others, worked with the classic puffer coat, which is such a perfect pick for the extreme winters. If you are looking for something that’s worth your money, this can be a good pick, as most of the designers had many ideas, right from colours and prints. Basically, this is something you can wear and flaunt!
Back with the checks: If you are fond of checks and plaids, this is the season for you. Labels like Victoria Beckham and Bottega Veneta have a new meaning to the fall coat with plaids, and the idea looks lovely, given that checks were trending last year, as well. You can wear one to work and for a date with the same ease.
